SOCALL, show 1 Chessman defeated Lash LaRoux via Guillotine Leg Drop. Sandman entered the ring and made an open challenge. It was answered by the redneck luchador, Rebelucha. Sandman easily defeated Rebelucha after whacking him with the SINGAPORE CANE. After the match Sandman said if a decent fight wouldn't come to him, then he'd go looking for one instead. Jerry Lynn won by disqualification over Rob Van Dam in a controversial decision after RVD used the Van Daminator. Bobby Heenan introduced "the champ" Nick Bockwinkel. Bobby said that Blue Demon snuck into the main event tonight like the masked thief he is, but from now on no one gets to Nick without first going through "the gatekeepers"; the other two members of the Heenan Family, Angelo Mosca and Hercules Ayala. Nick said all of the parts are in place for dominance over SOCALL and promised to put on a wrestling clinic Blue Demon would not soon forget. Mil Mascaras and Dos Caras defeated The Headhunters when Mil Mascaras pinned Headhunter 1 after the Flying Body Attack. Shane Douglas was standing by for comments. He said everyone is jockeying for position in SOCALL and trying to carve out their niche. Douglas mentioned the Heenan Family and said he was going hunting for the SOCALL championship himself. However, just like Bockwinkel, he doesn't hunt alone. He said he was threat number one to the belt, but there are two more on the way and no one will be safe. Mistico, Atlantis, Ultimo Dragon defeated Perro Jr, Black Tiger, Cactus Jack. fall 1: Perro pinned Atlantis fall 2: Mistico submitted Tiger fall 3: SANDMAN came out to brawl with Cactus, leaving Perro and Tiger at a disadvantage. Ultimo beat Perro to win the fall and the match.
SOCALL championship match Nick Bockwinkel defeated Blue Demon 2 falls to 1 to claim the title. Fall 1: Blue Demon beat Bockwinkel via EL PULPO Fall 2: Bockwinkel pinned Blue after a piledriver Fall 3: Heenan jumped on the apron as Blue was going for the pin. Blue and the referee were both distracted. Nick recovered and hit Blue with a knee to the back and rolled him up for the pin and the championship victory.

Excellent first card! Liking the Sandman attacks and the promise of a new Triple Threat. And as a HUGE Heenan mark, it's great to see him utilized so well. Heenan and Bock.... somethings are STILL classics, lol. And Mosca and Ayala? nice, Heenan is building the power side. Looking forward to seeing where people go with this!!

Notice that I introduced the idea of the Triple Threat, but not the other two members. There are a few ways that could go with the roster here, so if someone wants to jump in they've got some recruiting options.

Excellent start to SOCALL and Nick Bockwinkel as the First SOCALL Champ is really Cool. I like the vibe Shane Douglas brings to the table and it'll be fun seeing a Triple Threat rise up in the IWII...

SOCALL show #2 The show opens with Shane Douglas in the ring... with BAM BAM BIGELOW!!! and a masked wrestler, who (from this reporter's observation could bes t be described as a bit lumpy and pear-shaped.. just sayin). He announces that Bigelow was a shoe-in for his muscle back-up, but the other member wojuld be keeping a low-profile for the time being. He then challenged "Dick" Bockwinkel to man up and give him a **(censored)** title shot. Bobby Heenan appeared at the top of the ramp and told Douglas that he was nowhere near ready for "the Champ" but just MAYBE if he were able to pin either Mosca or Ayala on the next card, he would consider Douglas' request. Adrian Adonis def Mikey Whipwreck with the Goodnight Irene Sleeper. The Dudley's and the Gangstas battle to a bloody double dq Both teams brawl through the crowd and disappear into the back. As security and other wrestlers separate the teams, New Jack and Bubba can both be heard threatening that it's not over RVD def Jerry Lynn by CO after a Van Daminator on the arena floor renders Lynn unable to return to the ring before the count Mistico, Atlantis, Ultimo Dragon def Christopher Daniels, Sabu and El Generico Fall 1: Mistico over Sabu by DQ Fall 2: Ultimo Dragon over Generico with the Asai Moonsault In non-title action, SOCALL champion, Nick Bockwinkel and Blue Demon was ruled no-contest Shane Douglas and company came down and interfered in the match, attacking both Bockwinkel and Demon. The 3 on 2 beatdown was interrupted by Mosca & Ayala and Mascaras & Dos Caras. A wild 3-way brawl was still going strong as other wrestlers and officials came down to break up the fracas.

Nice. Have we got a 3-way, three-man team battle brewing in the main event scene? Lynn and RVD could not have ended better to continue to build that classic feud here.

SOCALL Show 3
Shane Douglas def. Angelo Mosca when Mosca miscalculated a sunset flip
The Headhunters and The Eliminators (John Kronus & Perry Saturn) battled to a no contest This was a classic encounter between two world class tag teams. The Pitbulls started out fast, catching the Headhunters somewhat flatfooted. The Headhunters absorbed the punishment then went on an offensive of their own, mainly outside the ring. Both teams battled back and forth until the ref went down. The Headhunters brutalized Kronus until Saturn couldn’t take any more and entered the ring. The Headhunters countered Saturn’s attack and the action spilled out of the ring. Both teams brawled uncontrollably outside the ring and when the ref recovered he declared the match a no contest.
Sumi Sakai def. Lufisto by disqualification Lufisto had a firm advantage but her aggressiveness got the better of her. Lufisto threw Sakai out of the ring and tried to follow. The ref tried to stop Lufisto but she shoved the ref aside and went about her business. The ref didn’t take to kindly to being womanhandled by the spritely Lufisto and called for the disqualification. The crowd voiced its displeasure with the ref’s decision.
Rob Van Dam def. Sabu by disqualification These two friends shook hands before the match began but the that’s where the friendship ended as Sabu quickly found himself disqualified for using the Arabian Facebuster. The crowd again voiced its displeasure the ref’s premature call for the bell.
Bam Bam Bigelow & Masked Man w/Shane Douglas and SOCALL Champion Nick Bockwinkel & Blue Demon battled to a no contest. This match really never got underway as Mil Mascaras, Dos Caras, Angelo Mosca and Hercules Ayala stormed the ring shortly after the opening bell.
After the ref regained control, he restarted the match as a three team triple threat match.
Shane Douglas & Bam Bam Bigelow w/Masked Man vs. SOCALL Champion Nick Bockwinkel, Angelo Mosca & Hercules Ayala vs. Blue Demon, Mil Mascaras & Dos Caras All three teams battled back and forth with none of them holding the advantage for very long. The end came when Mascaras pinned Douglas with a FLYING BODYPRESS.
