OK, the rules for this little board fed are pretty easy and basic. I do not have the time (nor desire, lol) to micro-manage it, so much of the work falls to the shoulders of the individual promoters. This will cover the basics, and if questions or situations arise as we move along, we will deal with them as they come...
1. Rosters will be 12 cards maximum. ANY card counts... women, Managers, Announcers, Referees, etc. 12 cards. You can have as many or few "Ghost employees" as you want. No talent represented by a card can be used in a non-wrestling capacity if they are under contract with another territory. FA's can be used in non-wrestling capacities provided they remain FA's and do not have bookings in other territories for the nights in question.
2. Booking of FA's is the responsibility of the individual promoter. ALL FA bookings must be on the calendar. Even if you opt to book them 2 minutes before you roll your show, they MUST be booked via the calendar, EVERY time. (Anyone unfamiliar with how the calendar functions, feel free to ask).
3. Your roster is yours, for as long as you choose to keep them. No minimum or maximum contracts. You may at any time trade with other promoters (You must remain at 12 or fewer talents at all times). You may also at any time "trade" with the FA pool. However, bear in mind a Free Agent that signs with you WILL be expected and required to fulfill any and all bookings on the calendar for up to 1 month after joining a territory full time. All trades, both between promoters and with the FA pool must be posted on the Calendar as well as on the "Trades" thread (which is coming soon).
4. Co-promoting is highly encouraged, though not required, with the following exceptions: 1: 4 times a year the I.W.F. will host a joint Supercard to showcase the overall talent of the league. Each promoter will be expected to participate and contribute... 2: The World Champion and World Tag Champions WILL travel the league defending their titles. Each promoter will be allowed to book 2 dates per month for each champion and will be allowed to have one of those bookings be a title match. There will be "Champions Advantage"rules forthcoming. All promoters will be expected to use those advantages for the World champs in title matches.
Special note on the champs: The champions automatically become FA's. The initial champs will be determined via tournaments and the promoter who owns the talent who becomes champion will lose that talent, being allowed to select another wrestler (or wrestlers in the case of the Tag Champs). After that, any territory that has a title change will keep the former champion in their territory (subject to trading, etc) and their home talent who defeats the champ or champs will become FA's, traveling the territories defending until they drop the titles.
5. There will be monthly rankings as submitted by the promoters. There will be cut off date each monthly (usually the first Friday of each month) posted on the calendar. Any promoter who desires to do so may send in the top 5 (including w/l records) singles and top 3 (including w/l records) tag teams for their territory. Rankings will be compiled based on the information sent in by the deadline. Any promoter who does not submit their list for teh rankings period will not be included in that months rankings (Alternately, their previous months names may be recycled if needed to complete the rankings). Rankings submitted do NOT necessarily need to be all your own talent (i.e. if you have worked a cross promotional angle or have had a successful FA touring your territory, other promoters talents and FA's can be included on your rankings list).
I believe this covers the essentials, if anyone finds I have left something important out by mistake, please feel free to ask, Thank you.
