All bouts are held under UK rules. Preliminary Bouts: 4 rounds
Rebel Jeremy Wyatt defeated Mark Sterling. Sterling controlled the first round and much of the second. However, Wyatt locked in his KC Crossface late in round two to take one fall. He repeated the feat in round three to win the second fall and the match.Roderick Strong drew with Eddie Edwards. [/center] Both fought hard, but neither could secure the necessary falls to win the match. In post-match comments Strong and Edwards both agreed to a 5 rounds rematch at the next event.Contender's Bouts: 5 rounds
Fit Finlay and William Muldoon wrestled to a draw with one fall apiece. Finlay won the first fall in round two. Muldoon evened it up with a submission win in round three. The referee was knocked down late in round five after Finlay started to get rough. With no referee there to count falls, there was no chance of any decision except a draw.Johnny Saint defeated Irish Pat Barrett. Barrett pulled out all the stops, but it wasn't enough to defeat the popular Saint. Johnny used the Russ Abbott maneuver to take fall number two, then scored the decisive win in round four with his 3 IN 1 special to win 2 falls to none.Main Event: 8 rounds
Bryan Danielson defeated John Pesek to earn a championship bout. The prize on the line was a championship bout versus Lou Thesz and both wrestlers battled with tenacity to try to claim it. Danielson won round three with his LeBell Lock. Pesek tried in vain to come back, as Danielson took the next pinfall in round four to be declared the winner.

Fun looking match-ups, some great mix of new and old. Do you have a set of rules somewhere for the rounds system? Would be useful for a future idea I have.
REALLY looking forward to Danielson v Thesz... YES!!! I am indeed.

I'll look it up and log in later..... Preliminary matches: 5 rounds
Colt Cabana defeated Dave Taylor with a flying hip attack in round 4. An evenly contested match saw Colt pick up falls in rounds 3 and 4 to take the victory.Mr Saito defeated Dan Severn in round 5. Dan took Saito the distance but could not win this grueling encounter. Saito used a Saito Suplex to secure the winning fall just before time expired in round 5.Eddie Edwards and Roderick Strong wrestled to a 5 round draw. The each took one fall, but neither could score the necessary second fall for the win. A challenge was issued by Edwards for "one more match" and Strong said "forget it". This may not be over yet, regardless of that answer.Contenders match: 8 rounds
Frank Gotch won by disqualification over Buddy Rogers in round 4. Gotch took the first fall in round 2. Rogers came answered in round 3, but got himself disqualified in round 4 to lose the match.Championship match; 10 rounds
Lou Thesz successfully defended against Bryan Danielson. Thesz won the opening fall in just five moves, finishing with a Thesz Press. An angry Danielson fired back in round two, and got himself disqualified for slamming Thesz on the floor in round three. Danielson snatched the belt from the timekeeper and dropped it on the chest of the hurt champ before walking away in disgust.

Another great card. Looks like tempers are starting to flair in PPW. Danielson looking to get Thesz in a bad mood, be interesting to see where that on e goes.
*and snickers quietly at the guest name*

The guest is a fraud! No way Rogers and Gotch should go to DQ!

The guest is a fraud! No way Rogers and Gotch should go to DQ! HA, remembered it! No, that happened. Rogers was down and dirty when it looked like he may end up dropping the deciding fall and there will be a rematch.
