Lucha Libre de Mexico
Card #9
Arena Mexico
Mexico City, Mexico
-Welcome to Card #9 of Lucha Libre de Mexico folks! Tonight we gear up for our huge first PPV, Revolution de Mexico, and we are not planning on disappointing. We have nine matches with our Main Event pitting our LLM Championship finalists, Konnan and Psicosis, together against Hector Garza and Halloween! Also we have The Mega Powers, Triple Threat, Demolition and Pirata Morgan in action. Lets head to the ring for our opening bout!
-Singles Match:
Perro Aguayo Jr vs. Magnum Tokyo
Squash match pretty much as Magnum Tokyo ended it with an Egoist Driver. Seems like Perro Aguayo Jr was looking towards the PPV instead of this match and was off his game.
-Backstage Shane Douglas and The Triple Threat are gathered around a television monitor. They talk about how weak Perro Aguayo Jr is and it will be easy for Bieglow and Candido to take he and his father apart. Douglas and Francine leave Bigelow and Candido as they head down the hallway. Out of nowhere Perro Aguayo and Silver King jump the Triple Threat as security has to break it up. It gets broken up just as Shane Douglas gets back there!
-Singles Match:
Hayabusa vs. Pirata Morgan:
A very competitive match that went back and forth with both men trying to secure a huge win. This was Lucha style at its finest but Hayabusa was the top dog in this one ending it with a sunset flip for a three count.
-The Blood Dragons are backstage talking about the LLM Tag Team Championships. They talk about being undefeated and no one can stop them. Suddenly The Mega Powers come by and say they are undefeated as well and they will put the Blood Dragons in their place. The teams back away from each other slowly
-Tag Team Match:
Blood Dragons vs. Triple Threat
The Triple Threat were furious from their attack earlier and they took it out on the Blood Dragons and give them their first loss as Bam Bam pinned Vampiro after a Falling Headbutt
-Tag Team Match:
The Mega Powers vs. The Conquistadors
Quick tag team squash match. Hogan ended it with a Legdrop. The Mega Powers remain undefeated.
-In the ring, Konnan and Psicosis are signing their contract for Revolution de Mexico. Both men talk about respect and honor and how they will fight it out for the title. The board of directors send a notice down that the match will be held under a no Disqualification and Countout rule so we can have a definite winner. Both men agree that is how it should be.
-Singles Match:
Cibernetico vs. El Canek
A battle between Agility and Power. Both men were exhausted after this match and the crowd was on their feet. El Canek ended it with a Gorilla Press and the three count!
-Gauntlet Tag Team Match:
Demolition vs. Eddie and Hector Guerrero
A rough and rugged match up between these two teams from opposing factions. However Demolition continued their winning ways with a Demolition Decapitation. Demolition and The Funks go up 5-1 in the series!
-After the match, Demolition grabbed microphones and reminded everyone they are undefeated in tag team action so everyone else needs to get behind them in line for the LLM Tag Team Championships.
-Singles Match:
Perro Aguayo vs. Shane Douglas
Shane Douglas still a man possessed as he gets the win here with the Pittsburgh Plunge. Perro Aguayo started strong getting a small package for a near three count and that set off Douglas. After the match The Triple Threat came out and beatdown Perro Aguayo before Perro Aguayo Jr and Silver King ran to the ring. It was a pier six brawl until security and other wrestlers came down to break it up!
-Tag Team Match:
Strike Force vs. The Blue Demons
A back and forth reversal match that saw a flash end when Tito Santana was whipped off the ropes and hit a sunset flip on Blue Demon Jr for a three count before anyone could react!
-We head backstage where all 8 men from The Funks, Demolition and The Guerreros are battling all over the arena. It is pandemonium as security has a hard time breaking it up. All eight men fight and stumble down into the boiler room where Dory Funk Jr comes up and shuts and chains the door shut on the inside so no one can get in or out!
-Main Event:
Psicosis and Konnan vs. Hector Garza and Halloween
Well Konnan and Psicosis have suffered their first losses here in LLM but it is in tag action as Halloween became a man possessed again laying both men out with chairs while Hector Garza was with the referee. The referee turned around and counted Konnan and Psicosis out and gave Halloween and Garza the win. Garza seemed uneasy in the win and Halloween was taunting the crowd with the chair as we fade to black!
